Design and realization of a DSP board for hybrid system control Supervisor : Sébastien Mariethoz Professor : Manfred Morari In power electronics applications, the response time expected from a controller is typically ranging from 1ms to some 1us. DSP and FPGA are devices that usually provide such response times. The project goals have been to design, realize and test an electronic board comprising the necessary components to implement a stand-alone controller providing this performance. The motivation is to have a platform available for practical experimentation. The presentation will give an overview of this development.
