The Flight Simulator in Google Earth

We introduce a set of equations and parameters that govern the motion of a fixed-wing aircraft. We give an overview of aerodynamics and flight mechanics and then show how these combine to realistically simulate the characteristics of the aircraft. Finally, we describe the configuration files of the flight simulator of Google Earth and show how they can be modified to adapt the characteristics of the simulated aircraft.
