Abstract:

In this short note we outline a procedure to determine a region of attraction for discrete time nonlinear systems controlled by linear controllers. The procedure involves the solution of a Lyapunov equation and a iterative solution of a nonlinear inequality. The results can be directly used for the so called quasi-infinite horizon NMPC scheme and dual mode control.
