Abstract:

Object-oriented analysis (OOA) and object-oriented design (OOD), like object-oriented paradigm itself, are relatively new concepts. There are several object-oriented development methods in use. One of the most popular object-oriented development techniques today is the Object Modeling Technique (OMT) developed by Rumbaugh et al. It is primarily used by system and software developers supporting full life-cycle development, targeting object-oriented implementations.
