Abstract:

The World Wide Web is increasingly used in education and especially in control engineering education. General remarks concerning the use of information technology in engineering education are presented in the first part of the paper and examples of the use in control engineering education are given in the second part. Of much concern during the work reported here were the questions related to cost of producing and consuming learning material on the WWW and correspondingly room is given to present the cost analysis.
