Framework Demonstrator Version V2

O. Rohlik, A. Pasetti, M. Egli

vol. AUT06-10, ASSERT project deliverable D4.2.4-3

This report is the final version of deliverable D4.2.4-3 of the ASSERT project. The report documents the contribution of ETH and UPD as members of Work Package 4.2 to the V2 version of the ASSERT Demonstrator. This contribution is centered on the use of a product family approach for ASSERT and is split into two parts. The first part covers the use of a product family approach at system level. More specifically, it shows how feature modelling techniques can be used to define an ASSERT system family and to derive from it a 3ADL model. The second part covers the use of a product family approach at software level. More specifically, it shows how a software framework can be defined to provide a set of reusable and adaptable software building blocks for a satellite on-board domain. The last part of the document presents a general approach for the development of code generators from UML2 models.
