Abstract:

In this talk, I would like to briefly introduce some of the research I have done in recent years. The first one is active control of rotating stall and surge in jet engine compressors and related bifurcation control issues. The second one is active control of flow separation and fluid mixing using a vortex model. And the last one is modelling and control of traffic congestion in a section of highway.
