Robust Active Control of a Vibrating Plate

Abstract:

In order to reduce the vibrations of a composite plate an active controller is designed and implemented. The model is derived by means of parametric and non-parametric identification. For the controller design, three different robust approaches are applied and compared. Finally implementation issues and performance trade-offs are discussed.
