Iterated Function Systems: a brief overview and stability properties

Abstract:

We will present a class of Markov Chains called Iterated Function Systems. These stochastic processes have applications in such diverse fields as biology, learning theory and the drawing of fractals. The talk will mainly be an overview of existing stability results for these systems.
