Abstract:

The ASV project reached a point, where it is inalienable to set the focus to the energy managment. A lot of efforts have already been made concerning the mechanical design and the motor control aspects to let the vehicle drive on the ground and follow a given trajectory. The vehicle becomes autonomous and the energy management comes more and more into account. To be able to do further step in the motor control, the mobile power supply has to be implemented first. Therefore, the main task of the energy management is to control the energy flow from the solar panel, the battery and the ultracapacitor to the DC-bus of the system. In this semester thesis, the focus has been set to the hardware and software implementation of the battery and ultracapacitor DC/DC-converter control structure.
