Semester Project, HS14 (10351)
Abstract:

The goals of my semester project were several. As a result of an update to the framework most of our previously programmed code did not work anymore, so our team decided to follow along with this change and also to switch to a new repository. My primary goal was to transfer all of our previously programmed code (Goalkeeper, Striker, Defender, etc) to the new framework and new repository and to get all of it to run smoothly again. The second goal was the testing and improving of former code. As our project at ETH was still very young compared to other Robocup teams, most of our code was still very flawed, so the idea was to reduce these flaws and improve on speed accuracy and orientation on the pitch. Finally,I was asked to participate in the German Open Robocup tournament in Magdeburg in April and spend the week there playing against other teams and continuously improve our team of robots.
