Autonomous Solar Vehicle Development: Wireless Telecommunication with Remote Computer

This bachelor thesis is about low power wireless communication. It is a part of the autonomous solar vehicle. To send and receive data the autonomous solar vehicle always needed wires. This is inconvenient and not very satisfying in times where everybody owns a smart phone. For this reason the hardware facility for a low power wireless connection was established. This will enable further student projects to evaluate their data quicker. The hardware manly consists of a small printed circuit board and the Bluetooth Smart Module BLE112 of Bluegiga. It enables a connection to the existing communication board over an Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) and it provides an programming interface. The software project consists of two parts: an firmware project and an application project. The firmware consists of four different xml-files which are loaded on the Bluetooth with a CC-Debugger of Texas Instruments. The application project needs to be programmed using Bluegigas own scripting language BGLib.
