Beschreibung:

The ORCA Racing project is developing an autonomous RC-car racetrack in order to study high-speed, real-time control. Mini 1:43 scale RC cars have just come into their own with the release of the Kyosho dNano in 2008, which can drive on a desktop but moves at extreme pace. This project will develop the hardware and software for a race track in which up to 40 of these cars can compete simultaneously, as well as the controllers to enable them to win. We offer a wide range from theoretical to practical projects in areas of automatic control, computer vision, machine learning, path planning and tracking, communications (tele-racing) and others. Check out orcaracer.ethz.ch for our current projects.
