Web-Browser based Control Experiment

Alexander Liniger

The Automatic Control Lab (IfA) offers several practical experiments as part of the PPS block in the third year. One of these experiments is the "Man in the loop" exercise, where the student is the controller and he should learn to apply basic control theory in a playful manner. Currently, the whole experiment is implemented in Matlab using its GUI framework.

Proposed project:
The experiment should be converted to run in a web-browser using for example HTML5 and Python scripts. A nice example of a HTML5 game to experience "Linear Systems Theory" was developed by a former PhD student of IfA: sigsys
