Stochastic Hybrid Models in Biological Processes, Modeling and Analysis

The talk is focused on the description of how stochastic hybrid systems can be used in Systems Biology. Specifically, a stochastic hybrid model for DNA replication is presented with some extensions that validate the model. Moreover, the first results of the parameter identification of a model of another biological process - the production of antibiotic Subtilin by the bacterium B.Subtillis - are shown.
