Until June 2018 I am on a fellowship at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at UC Berkeley. I am not carrying out any regular teaching activities at ETH during this time.

My research interests include multistage robust and stochastic optimization, dynamic programming, distributed optimization and pricing mechanisms, and model predictive control. I am particularly interested in real-time decision problems driven by forecast information.

I am primarily focused on applications in power and transportation systems.

In 2017 I taught part of the graduate course Game Theory and Control. If you are interested in carrying out a student project, please see the link below for up-to-date information. I will be in a better position to supervise students from this summer onwards.
