The Control Engineering Group (CEG) is putting special emphasis on the practical aspects of control engineering. The new developments in software engineering are of prime interest, both for the design and for the realization of control systems. Object oriented design and implementation by component frameworks are looked at from the perspectives of control engineering. Applications in different fields are also treated in this group with, among others, projects to develop the control software of satellites using object-oriented and framework technology.
