07.05.2012 A selection of questions from the 2009 exam have been posted below.
05.04.2012 Due to the holidays, the TA office hour for problem set 6 has been rescheduled to 17.04.2012 at 12:00-13:00 in ETL K 25.
23.02.2012 To accomomdate the large number of students, the lecture and tutorial room has been changed to HG E 1.2. The textbook will be sold next week in front of this new room.
23.02.2012 Starting 05.03.2012, every Monday 15:00 - 16:00 in ETL K 25, there will be TA office hours where you can ask questions individually to the TAs.

Exercises

    Wednesday 10:00 - 12:00 in HG E 1.2/ETZ D96.

    Generally, in each exercise session, one problem set will be assigned and dicussed. This problem set is due in the subsequent exercise session. In the exercise session after that, corrected problem sets will be returned along with sample solutions and discussed by a TA. You can ask questions individually with TAs every Monday 15:00 - 16:00 in ETL K 25.
Testat Requirement:
    8 out of the 12 problem sets must be completed and handed in. Each problem set will state which problems must be solved for the problem set to be considered complete. If you are absent due to military service or illness, please contact us to make the appropriate arrangements.

    The complete lecture notes will be available for purchase during class for 15 CHF. The notes can be purchased outside of class hours in ETL I 23. Exam
    The written exam will take place on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 10:00 - 12:00 in ETA F 5.
