Manfred Morari received the IFAC High Impact Paper Award
At the IFAC World Congress Manfred Morari was awarded with the IFAC High Impact Paper Award for his paper "Robust constrained model predictive control using linear matrix inequalities".
In the World Congress of the International Federation of Automatic Control, Prof. Manfred Morari, the former Head of the Automatic Laboratory, received the prestigious High Impact Paper Award for the paper “Robust constrained model predictive control using linear matrix inequalities”, by M.V. Kothare, V. Balakrishnan, M. Morari that appeared in Automatica, vol 32 (10), pp. 1361-1379, Oct 1996. The award acknowledges the impact of a paper published in any of the official IFAC journals on the broad areas of Automatic Control theory and application.
